Harassment of Women in Public Space

This seminar paper aims to raise awareness about the prevalence of harassment of women in public spaces and to provide perspectives and solutions. This involved collecting empirical data from women between the ages of 20 and 26 by means of a questionnaire. Likewise, a qualitative survey was conducted. The basis of the work are the results of the quantitative and qualitative research, as well as the report of an EU-wide survey on the topic of "Violence against women" (2014). Based on this, solutions were outlined. The seminar work is especially interesting for designers, urban planners and educators, but also creates awareness in the broader society.
